A "New" Grandpa

My sweet darling Kale has not had much time to spend with his awesome Grandpa Mobley. We were able to go hang out at Aunt Sarah's house for a few hours this week and Grandpa Mobley and Mimi Melissa were here from CA. Kale giggled and giggled as Grandpa snuggled and hugged him. When we were leaving, Grandpa put him in the car and told him, "now I need you to be a big boy and take care of your mom and dad for me." For two days every time he does something right Kale will say, "See I can be big and take care of you." The sweetest memory was when Kale said to Tina, "You should see the new Grandpa! He gots me this cool motorbike and played chase, and told me take care of my families." LOL..
How grateful I am for all our family and friends that make my little boys life so happy!

A wonderful Christmas

Ahh to be five at Christmas!
Sweet Memories:
* Kale has his best-friends over for a little party he kept telling them, "no no touching the presents! They are a super surprise for you!

* Kale woke us up at 3 AM. "Morning Mom! Guess what??? Some Santa guy ate all the cookies and milk and built me this cool pyramid with Legos come see!"

* "Awe mom look! Santa knews I just loves Ming Ming duckling!"

* The sweetest things ever were watching Kale run circles around Sarah's house with Sophie and snuggling in the morning with Grandma Bonny!

but mommy....

kale has officially changed my name to "butmommy" No matter what I say, or what he wants, it is a constant stream of but mommy, but mommy, but mommy LOL...

Kale says to me today, "Hey Mom, why don't I have any Jesus Legos? I need more good guys.... " LOL You know it Kale He is the best good guy ever!

Just for giggles I counted how many times Kale said 'Momma" today. The grand total was 971...that is about 1.3 times a minute all day....hahahahahah I think he said it about 5 times before i was even awake. I could hear him standing next to the bed, Momma, momma, momma, momma.. lol..

Kale got his first sandles today. He puts them on and says..."hmm, I should let Jesus borrow these. Him loves these kinds of shoes..." LOL I cant get him to take them off. Wears them all day. Must like the breeze on the tooties.

Poor, poor kale...thwacked himself with his plastic pirate eye-patch and has a big scratch on his eye/cheek...guess he has a reason to wear the patch now... He was so sad about it. Kept looking in the mirror and saying, "i don't like this much" lol.

Fell asleep reading the Bible...Not sure If I am impressed he loves it so much, or worried that it put him to sleep. LOL

"Hey mom! I really like this Lego game Pirates of the Carrot Bean" "You mean the Pirates of the Caribbean?" "Yeah I say that, Pirates of the Carrot Bean"...LOL

It all comes back to Veggie Tales as it should huh Kale? :)

Kale says this morning, "Mommy you face is real fat" lol...plz God let it be from the dentist visit and not my addiction to chocolate...

Kale is really sick to his stomach...keeps throwing up in a bucket saying, "man this is really disgusting, make it stop." lol poor baby....
This is the first time he has ever thrown up. The shock and awe on his face is priceless. He snuggled in my lap all night. I hate for him to be sick but I cherish that he wants me when he is...

We were at the part today using magnifying glasses to look at all the different flowers and growing things. Kales says, "Hmm nice flowers...Jesus makes such good choices...." LOL

Kale yells at me through the bathroom door... "why don't you just do like daddy and me do....stand and hold it....it goes much quicker" LOL

Kale says, "My body needs exercise, I need to play that boxing Wii" I say, "OK but help me pick up your Legos first." His response???? "Naw my body doesn't need that"
Yeah well Kale MY BACK tells me that I dont need to either! GET IT DONE MR! lol
